Digital Dental X-rays in Helena, MT

Digital dental x-rays or digital dental radiographs are done as part of a dental exam to provide a more thorough picture of your teeth and gums. Dental x-rays allow Dr. Sean Melton to diagnose problems that aren't visible to the naked eye and to understand more about the health of the inside of your teeth, gums, and jaw. Many oral health conditions may be seen on digital dental x-rays, such as tooth decay, cavities, abscesses, cysts, bone loss, and tooth impaction. When these problems are discovered in the early stages, you may have more effective and less invasive treatment options. As part of your annual dental exam at Melton Dental in Helena, MT, digital dental x-rays will help Dr. Melton accurately diagnose and correct dental problems.

Generally done at the start of your dental exam, digital dental imaging takes around 5 – 10 minutes to do. Many patients will have a set of dental x-rays to include all sections. After they are done, they will be uploaded and can be viewed by you and Dr. Melton. He can show you any issues and discuss treatment options.

My first visit and what a great experience; despite the complexity of enhancing my smile and being in the chair 2 1/2 hours! Dr Melton snd his staff are top shelf. Professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I’ll post before and after photos when my dental work is complete.

This was the best customer service I have ever had! My son was getting senior pictures this weekend and was supposed to get teeth whitened Friday. A staff member got sick so need to reschedule, but Dr. Melton called a staff member (Lenny (who was amazing)) see if there was anyway someone could come in on Saturday. They came in on their day off to whiten my sons' teeth! She was so kind, excellent customer service, made us feel welcome! We will be back, and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Melton Dental!

We recommend handheld digital x-rays annually for our patients. This allows our dental team to detect any issues and make adjustments if necessary. Yearly exams help monitor your oral health and give the dentist an opportunity to catch any changes or potential concerns early.
