My first visit and what a great experience; despite the complexity of enhancing my smile and being in the chair 2 1/2 hours! Dr Melton snd his staff are top shelf. Professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I’ll post before and after photos when my dental work is complete.

This was the best customer service I have ever had! My son was getting senior pictures this weekend and was supposed to get teeth whitened Friday. A staff member got sick so need to reschedule, but Dr. Melton called a staff member (Lenny (who was amazing)) see if there was anyway someone could come in on Saturday. They came in on their day off to whiten my sons' teeth! She was so kind, excellent customer service, made us feel welcome! We will be back, and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Melton Dental!

Dental bonding and contouring can improve gaps, chips, cracks, tooth length, discoloration, and other imperfections. Dental bonding and contouring is an affordable cosmetic procedure and can often be completed in one quick visit. It also doesn't require the prep work of veneers or crowns; however, it isn't as strong and usually does not last as long. Bonding and contouring is good for minor cosmetic flaws, so if you want more extensive improvements, a different restorative or cosmetic treatment may be considered. At your consultation, Dr. Melton will listen to your goals and then discuss your best treatment options.

How long do the results of dental bonding last?

Dental bonding and contouring can last many years if patients maintain good oral hygiene and have healthy teeth and gums. We recommend brushing and flossing daily in addition to coming back for a full dental examination and cleaning every six months. Patients can also avoid chewing on hard or sticky foods as well as any activity that can damage the teeth.

Is dental contouring painful?

The specialists at Melton Dental are trained to administer local anesthetics before most dental procedures. Depending on the extent of contouring, procedures can be extremely comfortable and not cause any pain at all. If you are concerned about pain, ask us about how we prepare for dental bonding and contouring to ensure that you are at ease before the procedure begins.

Does dental bonding look natural?

Yes, it does! Dental bonding is one of our patients' most natural-looking cosmetic dental options. This is because we take the time to match the color of your teeth with that of the dental materials. Our experienced dentists in Helena, MT, primarily focus on creating beautiful and natural smiles that last for life.

Dental bonding and contouring is a wonderful option if you would like to improve minor flaws in your teeth without the expense and time of other cosmetic procedures.
